The festival concept of the Lollapalooza has been exported to Chile, Argentina and Brazil since 2010. In addition, the "Kidzapalooza" is once again planned as a small festival within the festival for families and children.

Among the musicians and bands performing at Lollapalooza 2025 are Justin Timberlake, j-hope, Brutalism 3000, Gracie Abrams, RAYE, Benson Boone, IVE, Artemas, Shaboozey, FLO and Sofi Tukker.

During the festival, part of the park is transformed into an interactive show area where hip fashion labels open a small fashion city. Hip fashion brands, lifestyle brands and fashion newcomers also staged at Fashionpalooza.

Kidzapalooza is a special program for the youngest festival guests between the ages of 0 and 14. The Kidza stage offers numerous live experiences for guests of all ages. On both festival days, Kidzapalooza offers a ball pit and crawling area as well as child-friendly performances and workshops for the youngest music fans.

Launched in 1991 by Jane's Addiciton singer Perry Farrell, Lollapalooza takes place every summer in Chicago with more than 160,000 visitors. Traditionally, top international acts such as Eminem, Beastie Boys, Nick Cave, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Lady Gaga play there, as well as lesser-known artists. "Lollapalooza is the place where newcomers become legends and where legends return to prove their fame," explained festival founder Farrell. The US series "The Simpsons" even dedicated an episode called "Homerpalooza" to Lollapalooza.

In 2015, Lollapalooza celebrated its European premiere on Tempelhofer Feld. However, because refugees were housed there, a new location had to be found. In 2016, the second Lollapalooza took place in Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ×. The venue was Treptower Park in the Alt-Treptow district. In 2017, the Hoppegarten racecourse hosted the festival. Since 2018, the festival has been held in the Olympic Stadium and Olympic Park.
