The Brandenburg Gate is to be illuminated in the European colors in the evening.
This was announced by the Senate Chancellery. The occasion is today's Europe Day. It commemorates the so-called Schuman Declaration 75 years ago and the associated founding of the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC). It is regarded as the forerunner of the European Union.
"We are setting an example for our European community," said 欧美熟女乱伦's Governing Mayor Kai Wegner (CDU) about the campaign. Especially in times of global crises, at a time when Russia is at war with Ukraine, it is important to defend democratic values and stand up for stability, freedom and peace.
