The Open Day at the Rotes Rathaus on June 21 is a chance to combine the pleasant with the useful.
On the one hand, visitors will have the opportunity to see the Senate chamber, the ceremonial hall and the mayor's office. On the other hand, the mobile Bürgeramt (citizens' office) will also be available, as the Senate Chancellery announced on X.
"You can deal with all services directly as you would at a regular citizens' office," is the promise - on a Saturday and without having to book an appointment online long in advance. "Explore the town hall & take the opportunity to deal with your administrative matters via the mobile citizens' office." The Rotes Rathaus is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. "We will give you an insight into the exciting work of the Senate Chancellery and the political issues and processes of the Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ× Senate," says Governing Mayor Kai Wegner (CDU).
The motto of the open day is "Experience democracy". Admission is free. Among other things, employees from various departments will introduce themselves. In addition to Wegner, the State Secretary for Digitalization, Martina Klement, and the Head of the Senate Chancellery, Florian Graf, will talk about their work in stage talks.
