Routes, timetables, fares and more information on the Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ× tram network.
There are more than 20 streetcar lines in Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ×, marked with the symbol "Tram". They mainly serve the eastern part of Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ×, where they supplement the subway route network. The Metrotram lines run more frequently than regular trams.
The tram and Metrotram lines in Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ× are maintained by the Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ× transportation company BVG and belong to the Transport Association Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ×-Brandenburg (VBB). Therefore, public transport tickets for buses, the S-Bahn or the subway are also valid for trams, and vice versa. Ticket machines are located inside the trams. Tickets can also be purchased at ticket machines on the platforms of the S-Bahn and subway stations or ticket counters in larger stations.
The BVG tram network consists of nine Metrotram lines (M1 to M17) and 13 tram lines (12 to 68). The Metrotram lines of the Metrotram are marked with a "M". Tram and Metrotram lines run on different schedules. While normal trams have limited operating hours, Metrotram lines run 24 hours a day. During the day, they run at least every ten minutes. At night (from 0.30 AM) they run in 30-minute intervals.
