"Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ× offers the best conditions for an event of this top class," explained the CDU politician two days before this year's award ceremony. "The heart of the German games industry beats here. The location has the most companies and the most dynamic growth."

House of Games is being built in Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ×

Wegner pointed out that a central contact point for the industry would be created in Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ× with the House of Games. From 2026, large and small companies in the industry, start-ups and established companies, as well as cultural and educational institutions, will be able to set up shop here. The project aims to attract creative minds from all over the world to Å·ÃÀÊìÅ®ÂÒÂ×. The Senate Chancellery is funding the establishment of the House of Games in 2024 and 2025 with around five million euros each.

Application submitted for 2026
